Welcome to Anita's GVSU Blog! Currently I am a senior at GVSU and plan on being one for the next two years! I am an English and History double major with a secondary education emphasis. Eventually I would like to teach either Middle School or High School Alternative Education. I have been at Grand Valley since 1999. As far as my personality goes...I am an opinionated, outspoken woman who enjoys a good conversation. I grew up in the West Michigan area but I am not so stuck on the whole West Michigan hype like many locals. My interests are varied. I have an enormous love for history, especially anything to do with genealogy, labor history, and Civil War and Reconstruction. I love music from the 60s and the 70s, especially Creedence Clearwater Revival and Nazareth. I also like the blues, jazz, and big band music. I like to work out at the campus fitness center, but I am not a freak about it. I love Italian food, Mexican food, and anything with chocolate (except ants). I am a coffee fanatic and I really honestly love smoking cigarettes. Well, that's enough about me. Hope you enjoy my blog...
